Leeds United can still make more signings during the summer transfer period as Daniel Farke has admitted that his side is not done yet following their good start in the Premier League.

Leeds started their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, which was secured thanks to Anton Stach’s last-minute free-kick in the game.

Although there has been a good start, Farke is still determined to make his team stronger. According to Leeds’ head coach, the club would “push” in the last few days of the transfer window so that the team ends up having the strongest squad.

Leeds have been very active this summer with signings of James Trafford, Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi, amongst others. Nonetheless, more signings could be done before the end of the transfer window.

Here are three players who could arrive at Elland Road.

Mykhailo Mudryk

Mykhailo Mudryk is one of the names currently being mentioned widely in relation to Leeds.

According to Sky Sports, Leeds are in negotiations with Chelsea for a possible loan arrangement involving the Ukrainian attacker. Chelsea have reportedly turned down an initial offer, but talks continue nonetheless.

This 25-year-old player would give Leeds another choice to consider when it comes to the left flank of Farke’s attack. Leeds United have sought to boost their attacking options, and the left wing is one area that could use some improvement.

Mudryk’s availability could make a loan move a very appealing prospect for Leeds, but Chelsea’s readiness to accept other offers will be the decisive factor here.

For Leeds, this could mean signing a big-name player as they strive to capitalize on their first season in the Premier League.

Michael Zetterer

The other player who is heavily linked with a possible move to Elland Road is Michael Zetterer, the Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper.

According to Sky Sports, Leeds were on the verge of signing Zetterer who was going to come in as back-up for James Trafford. Both sides had reached an agreement but first, the German club has to find a replacement for Zetterer, first.

This development has been even more pertinent with Lucas Perri likely moving out. Perri has been reported to be interested in joining Torino, while Leeds would want to bring in another goalkeeper.

In that respect, Zetterer would certainly help Farke have some experienced depth in his squad without necessarily competing with Trafford for the first choice position.

A potential new striker

Leeds might also look to sign yet another striker before the window closes.

Joel Piroe has been loaned out from West Ham, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha being the main senior players available in that particular role. This, in turn, may mean an opportunity for yet another attacker at the club.

The new striker will provide Farke more competition for spots and cover, which may come in handy during the long English Premier League season.

But in contrast to Mudryk and Zetterer, there are no concrete reports of a potential striker arriving at Leeds at the moment.
