Leeds United are closing in on a new long-term contract for manager Daniel Farke, with managing director Robbie Evans confirming that the club and the German coach are on the same page over a new agreement.

Farke’s current contract is approaching its final year, but there is growing confidence that he will remain at Elland Road beyond the end of the season.

Evans revealed that discussions between the club and Farke’s representatives have progressed positively over the past few months, with both sides aligned over the manager’s future.

“Daniel and his team and I have had really good chats for the past three months and they’re all on the same page,” Evans said.

The talks come at a time when Farke’s position has strengthened considerably following his work at Leeds. He guided the club back to the Premier League and has since helped establish them as a competitive top-flight side.

Leeds have also made an unbeaten start to the 2026/27 Premier League season, with Monday’s 4-1 victory over Newcastle United taking them to third place after four matches.

The club are now keen to secure Farke’s long-term future as part of their plans for continued progress on and off the pitch.

Reports indicate that the proposed new contract could keep Farke at Leeds until 2030 and include a significant increase on his current salary, believed to be around £4 million per year.

However, those terms have not yet been formally confirmed by the club, with negotiations still ongoing.

Farke has been in charge of Leeds since 2023 and has overseen a significant period of progress, including promotion to the Premier League and the club’s continued development in the top flight.

With Leeds currently sitting third in the Premier League and showing signs of building a more stable period under Farke, the club are now working to ensure the German remains at the centre of their plans for the years ahead.
