Leeds United have rewarded Jayden Bogle’s impressive progress at the club by handing the versatile defender a new long-term contract that will keep him at Elland Road until June 2030.
Bogle joined Leeds from Sheffield United in 2024 while the club were competing in the Sky Bet Championship and quickly established himself as an important member of Daniel Farke’s side.
During his first season at Leeds, Bogle made 44 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing five assists as the club secured promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship title.
His individual performances were also recognised, with Bogle named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season and the PFA Team of the Year.
The 2025/26 campaign saw Bogle make the step up to the Premier League, where he continued to play a significant role for Leeds. He featured 39 times in all competitions, scoring twice and contributing to a defensive unit that recorded nine clean sheets.
One of Bogle’s biggest strengths has been his versatility within Farke’s 3-5-2 system. The 25-year-old has demonstrated an ability to operate as a right midfielder, right wing-back and right-back, giving the Leeds head coach different options depending on the demands of each match.
That versatility has continued into the current campaign. Bogle has started all five of Leeds’ Premier League matches so far this season and has already found the net once.
The new contract represents Leeds’ continued commitment to a player who has been an important part of the club’s progression from the Championship back to the Premier League.
With his future now secured until June 2030, Bogle will have the opportunity to continue developing his role at Elland Road and remain a key part of Farke’s plans for the years ahead.
